The International Festival of Finno-Ugric cuisine "Byg-byg"

18 - 19 july, 2014, Udmurt Republic


The International Festival of Finno-Ugric cuisine will take place in the village of Bygi within the project "The Cultural Capital of Finno-Ugric World." The event organizers aim to create new cultural traditions of Finno-Ugric world.

The festival programme features creative and educational sites: "Culinary skill and culinary contests", "Etnobrending and promotion of Finno-Ugric territories", "Cultural management", "Traditional culture".

Master classes, fairs – exhibitions, performances of creative groups will be held.

More than 1,000 people from Finno-Ugric corners of the world, including Russia, Finland, Estonia, Sweden, Hungary, Latvia, Italy, France will become the festival participants.
